Description: |
Provide the Chief Pilot ¿ Director, Flight Training ongoing evaluation to ensure an optimum level of safety is maintained for all of Boeing's Training Operations o Functional Manager assigned to implement an effective Safety Management System (SMS) for Boeing training operations in accordance with the FAA ANPRM and ICAO Mandate for businesses providing aviation support services o Maintain proficiency in Accident and Incident Investigative Techniques, documentation and technical skills, Human Factors continuing education, safety research, and Investigation Analysis o Maintain proficiency and awareness of line related issues by maintaining instruct qualifications in dual models in the simulators o Represent Flight Safety interests as liaison to FT-A safety committee o Review existing safety programs to ensure most recent materials are available to instructors and students (i.e., 6th Generation CRM, Fatigue Countermeasures) o Attend Air Carrier and/or related industry meetings as directed for Flight Safety issues o Ensures pilot awareness of all abnormal occurrences with review of accidents or incidents in the form of published articles, Flight Safety Bulletins or via electronic means o Ensure compliance with Boeing¿s Aircraft Accident Response Plan (AARP) o Institute an Employee Safety Recognition and Awards Program to enhance safety awareness throughout Flight Training operations o Pursue Instructor Pilot inclusion in TSA's jumpseat access database |
